Romanian Producer Petre Inspirescu has mixed the next album in the Fabric series.
A regular at the London venue, he’s best known for his releases on Luciano’s Cadenza imprint, the unpronounceable A:rpia:r, which he runs with countrymen Rhadoo and Raresh, and Yojik Con Con, his own personal endeavour.
But rather than a selection of tracks he’s been rotating from other artists, Fabric 68 contains all his own compositions, following in the footsteps of the likes of Omar S, who also kept his mix solely made up of his own work.
“I recorded the mix at home and arranged only from my own productions, as I wanted to try to offer a more classical touch to the music I make for the dancefloor and to present it to people,” he said.
“Some of the songs were recorded more than one year ago, maybe two, and some recently. The songs include recordings with a trio (violin, cello, piano) in my studio, other instruments, voice (soprano) and modular sounds.”
